Cibes|Symmetry is currently recruiting for Mechanical Assembler at our Peoria, IL Facility.

This is a 1st shift position: 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays for a few hours depending on our workload.

Job DESCRIPTION

Using a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment, the incumbent will perform a series of operations to correctly assemble and/or test elevator parts or units. The incumbent may work alone or part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Production and Processing knowledge
• Knowledge and skilled with the use of hand and power tools
• Comprehension of blueprints and technical specifications
• Assemble components with the use of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Use visual inspection techniques to verify quality of product
• Safely use any special tooling and lifting devices provided
• Move finished assemblies and place in shipping container free of damage
• Assist in troubleshooting efficiency and effectiveness
• Communicate with other team members and shifts
• Maintain a clean, safe work area free of foreign materials
• Participate in training and cross-training efforts as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Pay depending on experience.
