Primary Responsibilities In the role of Mechanical Commissioning Agent, we'll count on you to:
  • Perform all phases of commissioning for our clients, under the support of a senior level commissioner, including producing commissioning materials for design phase commissioning, construction phase commissioning, acceptance testing and post acceptance commissioning.
  • Participate in commissioning meetings, maintain project commissioning notes, understand how to work within deadlines and project constraints.
  • Maintain communications with commissioning colleagues, clients and other project stakeholders.
  • Perform site testing of mechanical equipment and electrical systems, as needed.Some travel will be required, based on project assignments.
  • Generate and edit test scripts for basic mechanical equipment.
  • Document results of testing and maintain a non-compliance log.
  • Other duties as assigned.
*LI-MP1 Qualifications Required Qualifications •4 years of industry experience dealing with mechanical, electrical and controls discipline •Proven ability to perform commissioning effort •Should have a passion for sustainability and knowledge of the commissioning process and experience with design, installation and operation of building systems (including but not limited to: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and controls) •Must have demonstrated ability to troubleshoot HVAC, TAB, and Controls and have excellent report writing skill •Must have a solid understanding of operational requirements, safety requirements, code inspections and maintenance consideration •Strong written, verbal communication and time management skills and exceptional interpersonal skills ability to interact with people at all level •Technical knowledge of MEP systems and HVAC expertise •Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite •An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineering degree
  • LEED ® accreditation
  • Strong controls background is highly desirable
  • Candidates who reside locally are preferred.

The expected compensation range for this position is $79,625 - $113,750 annually/hourly depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
