If you or any of your colleagues are interested in discussing this role, please click Apply Now. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for performing field work at industrial and manufacturing client sites which will include taking measurements, scanning, sketching concepts, and communication with stakeholders on projects. In this role, you will work to design and engineer mechanical solutions for our clients. As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for drafting, designing, and engineering concepts independently as well as within a project team using CAD software. This is a temp-to-perm that is required to be fully on-site.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) from an ABET accredited institution
- 2-5 years experience with design and engineering within industrial and manufacturing facilities
- Proven knowledge of mechanical systems such as HVAC, chilled water, piping, pumps, valves, motors, and P&IDs.
- Prior consulting and construction experience is a plus
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Plant3D, and other CAD software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
