Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Orlando, FL Job ID: #70215 Pay Range: $36-44 12 Month Contract CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED (CLEARABLE)A Mechanical Design Engineer is needed in the RF Sensor Product Center to support RF Sensor development activities.Candidate will be required to: * Support conceptual design trade studies and detail design for common sensor product. * Collaborate and provide sensor design support to adopter programs. * Coordinate efforts with electronic packaging personnel and structural/thermal/material analysts. * General RF Sensor Product Center support to include fixture design, test support, oversight of hardware fabrication. * Direct and manage submittal of CRs/CNs, and present at/support change boards. * Occasional Travel may be required.Required Experience for candidates that have a Masters Degree, must have 4-6 years experience with the below. Required Experience for candidates that have a BA Degree, must have 6-9 years experience with the below.* Be able to perform design trade studies evaluating cost, weight, structural/thermal benefits. * Have experience with ASME Y14.5 GD&T, hardware fabrication, installation and assembly techniques, and tolerance analysis. * Have experience in CREO, Windchill PLM, and mechanical design. * Be able to comply with limited/occasional travel. * Have experience with hardware design of flight hardware. * Have familiarity with prototype labs or outside vendors for hardware fabrication and experience integrating hardware. * Have exposure to production support efforts.Prior experience with RF sensors/devices and model-based definition (MBD) is a plus.Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
