As we continue to expand and excel, we're on the lookout for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team.About the Role: In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for mechanical design, development and support of new product development initiatives for a wide variety of clients. You will develop designs based on customer guidelines and specification for products and projects associated with Battery, Thermal and Power electronics. You will be able to develop solid model product renders from customer concept parameters. We're seeking a professional with unwavering ethics, exceptional follow-through, and a robust technical acumen to join our team.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the full product design lifecycle from concept to production (e.g., power supplies, battery packs).
  • Create technical documentation including design/production packages, BOM, engineering specs, and qualification plans.
  • Apply DFM principles and ensure designs meet manufacturability standards.
  • Conduct simulations and analyses (FEA, thermal, stress) to ensure design performance and manufacturability.
  • Prepare mechanical designs, drawings, schedules, and specifications.
  • Coordinate mechanical engineering phases and generate assembly instructions and BOM.
  • Design parts (plastic, metal, cables, battery packs) following industry best practices.
  • Perform root cause analysis to solve design issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide technical support for new product concepts and define product requirements with project teams.
  • Design 3D models in SolidWorks from initial concepts.
  • Source commercial and fabricated parts as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to evaluate design feasibility and improvements.
  • Maintain accurate design archives and version histories using data management tools.
  • Support prototyping, manufacturing, and NPI documentation, including work instructions and assembly drawings.
  • Ensure manufacturing procedures align with engineering and quality standards.
  • Assist with thermal solutions and testing.
  • Mentor team members on best practices and procedures.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2-4 years of experience in product development (consumer, telecom, medical, industrial and automotive industries, battery, power supplies, thermal controls)
  • Strong skills with parameterized 3D solid modeling tools, such as such as SolidWorks, Creo PTC, Catia, Pro-Engineer, and AutoCAD.
  • MS Office Suite Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
  • Ability to interface well with customers.
  • Knowledgeable in detailing, 3D modeling, 2D to 3D conversion, rendering, animation, simulation.
  • Experience in design of power suppliers, battery packs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical writing documents and verbal communication skills.
  • Project management experience; MS Project, Gantt charts.
