- Range of Pay $50,000-$60,000 with bonus potential
What You Will Do: The Designer will provide designs, calculations, drawings, BOMs, etc. for various product initiatives.
- Design of custom heat exchangers using Solidworks and AutoCAD
- Generate detail drawings, BOM's, and Manufacturing Requirements
- Perform ASME code calculations to support the overall design (training in Codeware Compress software provided)
- Prepare layouts for components and subassemblies with focus on designing for cost and manufacturability
- Provide engineering and technical support for the layout, design, and evaluation of equipment, including checking of drawings and other related engineering documents.
- Partner with manufacturing, purchasing, application engineering, and sales to deliver customer projects
- Ensure the design of equipment adheres to current standards
- Support the team with validating each other's output, analysis of results, and other efforts to produce world-class products
What You Bring:
- Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Computer Aided Drafting/ Design Technology
- Experience with Solidworks (or Autodesk Inventor)
- Collaborative, analytical, and solution focused
- Versatile, highly motivated, and team oriented attitude
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement tools and/or methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, etc.) is a plus
