Must be willing to travel overnight to do onsite data collection for engineering projects. - Possess basic math skills
- Possess basic knowledge of using measuring tools
- Measure any dimensional call out for part requirements using all gages provided
- Operate a crane or a hoist
- Maintain clean work area
- Log correctly onto all jobs
- Reverse engineer basic die blocks
- Design simple engineering changes
- Possess basic understanding of die stamping concepts
- Possess basic knowledge of the function of CNC equipment
- Read prints proficiently
- Calibrate and use all measuring instruments proficiently
- Operate digitizer and Romer arm with efficiency
- Redraw 2D blocks in Mastercam
- Reverse-engineer surfaces in Polyworks
- Create models and prints in Pro/Engineer
- Correspond with customers in a professional manner
