Seeking an engineer with 4 to 15 years' experience in energy engineering, design, project development, construction project management, commissioning, and/or measurement & verification for building projects. Strong analytical skills are required. The engineer should have at a college degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related degree. Master's degree or prior experience in the field preferred. Professional engineering license is a plus. Occasional travel is required.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid office/on-site role for a Mechanical/Energy Engineer at Facility Strategies Group, PLLC. The engineer will collaborate with the team to ensure the success of energy projects at various stages, from planning to engineering and finance. The engineer will be responsible for conducting inspections, analysis, energy modeling, commissioning, and savings verification. Additionally, they will contribute to energy and sustainability audits, assessments, and strategic energy planning processes.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related degree
• Project Management skills
• Experience in energy retrofit project development and energy management a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus
• Experience in the energy and sustainability industry is beneficial
