Roles and Responsibilities

  • Roles and Responsibilities:• You will demonstrate leadership in communicating business, program, andprocess goals for the NTI portion of the business. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and can affect short-term and some long-term business goals.• Rapidly create concepts and studies to determine an optimized packaging concept that accounts for the interaction of the mechanical systems such as heat, vibration, reliability, manufacturability, and human factors• Define, analyze, and improve mechanical system requirements for power electronic performance and test• Utilize best practices for TRL and MRL advancement to mature technologies for readiness in Product Introduction (NPI)• Develop and collaborate on electronics packaging technology roadmaps for analysis tools, thermal management, manufacturing technologies, and environmental robustness.• Identify and protect GE intellectual property

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 2 years of relevant experience

  • Master's degree from an accredited university or college

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience with designing military grade or rugged electronics

  • Ability to create clarity from ambiguous problems or situations

  • Ability to work with engineering analysis and simulation tools such as ANSYS

  • Ability to develop 3-D computer drafted models using solid edge or similar products

  • Engineering project leadership experience

  • Strong research skills and experience in applying theoretical knowledge to solve industrial problems

  • Proficiency in the use of standard materials laboratory test equipment and definition of material test methodology Experience with additive manufacturing

  • Excellent oral and written communication skill

  • Strong customer service mindset with ability to adapt to chang

  • Six Sigma training or equivalent training

This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Citizens. GE will require proof of status.

The base pay range for this position is $95,000 to $108,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on December 3rd, 2024.
