You'll be a key part of the launch team that will help bring the electrification revolution to driveways, job sites, and highways everywhere. BlueOval Battery Park Michigan will produce the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells to power the next-generation Ford EV passenger vehicles and trucks under development. This new wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company will create more than 1,700 jobs when production begins in 2026. This role will start remote and then will be working hybrid out of Marshall with expectation to be on-site at Marshall once building construction and timing is established (relocation package available).
What you'll do...
* Review equipment schematics from equipment to delivery.
* Ensure equipment meets design and installation requirements (reliability, maintainability, product safety/quality).
* Facilitate installation and debug according to project plan.
* Participate in the formulation and scheme review of new technology and new equipment standards and specifications and promote the quality management of equipment life cycle.
* Enhance the process capability and production efficiency of existing cable pulling equipment, improving the excellent rate, and reducing energy consumption and manufacturing costs.
* Lead major fault maintenance at the base, summarize faults summary, promote experience sharing, and oversee equipment digitalization initiatives.
* Ability to adapt to high intensity working environment and capable of handling high pressure and challenging work.
* Ability to work various shifts and hours, including weekends.
