Full Service MEP Firm seeking an Mechanical Engineer to join their team in NYC! This is an excellent opportunity for growth with a chance to become a partner down the line, as well as the chance to work on a variety of multiple exciting projects.Job Description:Design of mechanical systems including: heating, cooling, heat rejection, air and hydronic distribution systems, ventilation, air conditioning, building automation and controls.Perform system design calculations and analyze mechanical system options with industry standard engineering and energy modeling software.Knowledgeable with all relative building codes and standards.Prepare design documents to detail the mechanical systems in basis of design report and specification formats.Review design deliverable assurance of technical accuracy and presentation quality.Coordinate work with architect and engineers of other disciplines.Manage projects for timely technical delivery and day to day liaison with design and client team.Qualifications:E.I.T (Engineering in Training)P.E (Professional Engineer) -Highly preferredRevit Experience5+ Years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer (5-15 Year range)Experience with AutoCAD (Revit is a plus) 80% of their projects is within AutoCADProject type experience include healthcare, data centers, central plants, municipals, etc.Familiar with ASHRAE Standards and LEED certifiedE.I.T (Engineering in Training) preferredP.E (Professional Engineer) -Highly preferredRevit Experience preferredPlease Apply to Posting ASAP for Immediate Consideration!About ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
