Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is a permanent role that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and development of innovative products while working in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of our manufacturing process, from initial concept and design through to production and assembly. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for product development.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize CAD software to design and develop mechanical components and systems for manufacturing, ensuring that all designs meet the necessary specifications and standards.
  • Conduct detailed engineering analysis of designs, including stress analysis, fluid dynamics, and thermal analysis to validate and optimize designs.
  • Lead product development initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are designed for manufacturability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee manufacturing processes, implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create detailed 2D and 3D models and technical drawings, including assembly and part drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
  • Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
  • Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in mechanical engineering and manufacturing, and incorporate relevant innovations into design and process improvements.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical design, engineering analysis, product development, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and developing mechanical systems for manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and principles, with a focus on designing for manufacturability and efficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field.
