- Use SolidWorks to design mechanical systems comprising sheet metal, molded, machined and cast parts
- Evaluate mechanical, optomechanical and electromechanical systems by designing and conducting testing; applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials
- Confirm system and product capabilities by developing testing methods
- Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components
- Follow engineering standards and best practices to support project objectives
- Implement assigned tasks on a timely basis in a fast-paced environment
- Provide detailed engineering documentation
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
