Our client in the Warrendale Area is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the teamDuties:- Design, maintain, implement, and improve mechanical components, equipment products, or systems for specialized applications.- Perform a wide range of engineering tasks using computer-assisted design software.- Prepare mechanical system specifications, technical drawings, and system maps to ensure installation and operations meet standards and customer requirements.- Assist in establishing and implementing standards and specifications.- Maintain mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.Collaborate with various technicians on a daily basis.Job RequirementsRequirements:- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar - 5 years of experience - Experience with designing robotic or electro-mechanical systems- Knowledge of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) systems and/or Product Data Management (PDM) systems is a plus- Knowledge of CAD or related software- Knowledge of computer simulation is a plus- Design for manufacturing - including but not limited to CNC, injection molding, 3D printing, CAD, and Material Science- Ability and willingness to provide support for legacy systems (50/50)
