An exciting start up company is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer to their growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in new product development from early stage concept to market.
Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical systems and components for autonomous drilling rigs, including hydraulic systems, drive systems, and structural elements
- Integrate mechanical designs with cross functional teams including electrical, software, and control
- Perform simulations, stress analysis, and finite element analysis
- Outline and perform testing and validation of new designs at a subsystem and integration level
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2-5 years of mechanical design experience
- Experience working on heavy machinery, construction equipment, or mining equipment
- Strong communication and project management skills.
