The Mechanical Engineer will be a part of the Plant Engineering team at Cleveland Operations. The team drives the success of capital projects while providing critical engineering support to the Consumable and Machine divisions. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the mechanical aspects of these projects, including facilities preparation, equipment design, and equipment installation. Your work will directly impact the improvement of existing systems and facilities, focusing on enhancing health and safety, operational efficiency, product quality, and cost management. What You Will Do: * Collaborate in a Team-Oriented, Hands-On Environment: Work within a multidisciplinary team on capital and strategic projects aimed at enhancing the Cleveland Operations production facilities. Engage in direct, hands-on involvement with engineering solutions and design improvements. * Mechanical Engineering Leadership: Take full responsibility for the mechanical aspects of various projects, including the preparation of facilities, design of equipment, and installation of systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. * Drive Continuous Improvement: Focus on engineering solutions that improve equipment reliability, reduce operational and maintenance costs, enhance safety, and increase ergonomics for plant personnel.
