  • Robot Cell Design - Design safe robot cells that satisfy the customers' needs
  • End of Arm Tool Design - Provide end-of-arm tooling customized for each application
  • Auxiliary Equipment Design - Design robot pedestals, mounting hardware, product handling equipment, & more
  • Auxiliary Equipment Specification - Conveyor, pallet dispensers, fencing, stretch wrappers, etc.
  • Field Service - Assist customers with troubleshooting down equipment situations

Responsibilities:
  • Mechanical design using 2D and 3D CAD.
  • Manufacture components through in-house additive manufacturing (3D Printing).
  • Supervise outsourced manufacturing of machined and fabricated components.
  • Manage project scope from written specification and verbal description.
  • Ensure robotic cell designs meet ANSI/RIA R15.06 safety standard.
  • Program PLCs and operator interfaces from Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Automation Direct and Mitsubishi.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues while commissioning systems.
  • Communicate directly with customers regarding the status of projects.
  • Manage multiple projects from concept through commissioning.
  • Manage customer relationships.
  • Prepare written scopes and material budgets for quotations.
Requirements:
  • 0 to 10 years of experience.
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, or related field of study.
