Senior Mechanical Engineer with 15-20 years of experience for a long-term role within our team. This position focuses on
piping flexibility studies,
piping support design, and
process equipment specifications (including pumps, material handling, and pressure vessels). Candidates must have experience with
Caesar II software, and a
PE license is preferred (or the ability to obtain one). The role emphasizes mentorship and leadership to support the development of junior engineers and designers.
Key Responsibilities- Perform piping flexibility studies and piping support designs.
- Develop process equipment specifications based on design parameters from clients or process engineers.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance and design accuracy.
- Conduct local site visits (10 minutes to 2 hours away, occurring 2-4 times monthly) and occasional overnight travel (2-4 times annually, lasting 2-3 days).
Qualifications- 15-20 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Caesar II with a strong understanding of piping systems and equipment specifications.
- PE license preferred or ability to obtain one.
- Leadership and mentoring skills to guide junior team members.
Work Environment & Benefits- Hybrid work structure: 3 in-office days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 remote days.
- Competitive salary: $90,000-$155,000, based on experience.
