Diversity is important to us; we are proudly an Equal Opportunity Employer striving for innovation and growth both for our employees and our CompanySUMMARY AND PURPOSEDesign and fabricate production ready equipment for the packaging industry, and deepen the understanding of products, customers, goals, organization, and business strategies, evaluating systems and processes, and identifying improvement needs.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Equipment Design (70%)o Customize existing equipment to meet client demands.o Design and develop new equipment with the assistance of the latest 3D CAD software.o Utilize the latest in robotics and automation technology to improve machine capabilities.o Work with both project managers and clients to develop efficient process flows and line layouts.o Collaborate with controls engineers to create seamless integrated systemsManufacturing Support (20%)o Create 2D drawing files, source vendors, and order parts to meet production goalso Develop drawings and procedures necessary for the assembly of equipmento Lend assistance as necessary on the production floor to meet strict timelineso Assist controls engineers in machine testing and troubleshootingSales and Service Support (10%)o Assist technical writers in development of machine documentation packageso Revisit existing equipment to repair or improve processeso Travel to customer sites to evaluate problems or implement new solutionso Assist sales and marketing using expert knowledge to farther clients understanding of the advantages of company equipmentPROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONSEducation:o Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related fieldExperience:o 3+ years experience in machinery designo Working knowledge of pneumatics/hydraulics, AC/DC powertrain design, and servo controlled actuator designo Expertise in 3D design software, Autodesk Inventor experience is strongly desiredo Working knowledge of 2D AutoCADo Proven ability to support multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environmentSkills:o Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a large teamo Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skillso Ability to operate computer.BENEFITSMedical/HSADentalVisionDependent Care FSA401kCompany paid Life and AD&DOptional Life InsuranceFlexible Work SchedulePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK REQUIREMENTSReasonable accommodation may be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.Requirements:PI75cc39968###-####9-36172226
