Description

SAIC is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to coordinate and guide multi-disciplined teams developing some of the most advanced conventional munition capabilities within the Department of Defense. This position would sit at Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey.

Responsibilities:

* As part of our team, you will leverage your engineering background while developing expertise within advanced munitions to generate innovative solutions to some of the most challenging issues facing our client at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.

* Assess emerging requirements and develop technical concepts/implementation plans to rapidly meet organizational priorities and program objectives within a dynamic environment.

* Design test plans, monitor performance/technical progress and coordinate the efforts of diverse stakeholders to develop solutions to emerging challenges while maintaining cost and schedule constraints.
