We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a forward-thinking industrial organization dedicated to operational excellence, safety, and innovation. This individual will ensure equipment reliability, optimize systems performance, and the seamless operation of plant equipment, utilities, and infrastructure. This role involves hands-on technical expertise in mechanical design, maintenance, and troubleshooting to support our production and maintenance teams.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment with hands-on experience working on mechanical projects.
  • Expertise in mechanical system design, development, testing, and documentation.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical blueprints, schematics, and equipment specifications.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing production machinery, engines, motors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic tools, and conveyors.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Capable of working in physically demanding environments with exposure to variable temperatures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and work on equipment for extended periods.

Essential Duties:

  • Develop, test, and implement mechanical designs for plant equipment, systems, buildings, and utilities to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Prepare, analyze, and review technical blueprints, schematics, drawings, and detailed equipment specifications to guide maintenance and design activities.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to ensure the continuous and reliable operation of plant machinery and systems. Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on production equipment, motors, engines, hydraulic valves/cylinders, pneumatic tools, and conveyor systems.
  • Systematically observe equipment performance and use testing metrics to identify mechanical faults or system failures.
  • Disassemble, repair, or replace defective components and restore equipment to operational standards. Execute repairs in compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory codes to maximize uptime and minimize production disruptions.
  • Plan and conduct preventative maintenance checks to detect potential issues early, reduce downtime, and extend equipment lifecycle.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
