Experience in commissioning, field inspection of buildings systems, NYC energy code progress inspections, is a plus. Engineer for this position will be providing engineering consulting services for commissioning, field inspection and field testing of building systems. Create project specific requirements and basis of design documentsReview HVAC design documentation including drawings, specifications, and controls sequencesCreate and implement project specific Cx plansPerform submittal reviewsAssist with preparation of pre-functional checklistsDocument and maintain well written reports on project related activityCommunicate effectively and establish relationships with clients and job related management teamsProviding cross-functional support to ensure client needs and internal timelines/project activities are completedMaintain detailed documents and progression of work from initial proposal through completionPresent project related technical information to clients and design teamsOccasional presentation of white papercase studies to in-house technical teamsAttend in-house seminars and scheduled team meetingsMaintain established utilization levelsSupport junior technicians or entry level staffField verify that HVAC equipment is installed as per the drawings and specificationsPerform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or managerQualificationsExperience-3-5 years, flexibleQualifications: BS in engineering or similar backgroundAdditional InformationFor more information, please visit www.socotec.usJob Type: Full-TImeRange: $80-95KYour information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.SOCOTEC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
