Description
As a Mechanical Insulation Foreman in the oil and gas sector, you will lead a skilled team of insulation technicians, ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of insulation systems are executed safely and efficiently. You will oversee projects from planning to completion, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Role and Responsibilities
* Supervise and mentor insulation technicians, assigning tasks and providing guidance to ensure high-quality workmanship.
* Plan and coordinate insulation projects, including resource allocation, scheduling, and logistics to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
* Conduct inspections of insulation installations, ensuring adherence to specifications, industry standards, and safety protocols.
* Promote a culture of safety on-site by enforcing safety practices, conducting regular safety meetings, and ensuring all team members use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other trades to facilitate collaboration and resolve any issues that arise during the project.
* Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and safety compliance, preparing reports as required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical insulation or a related field is preferred.
* Extensive experience in mechanical insulation, with a minimum of 5 years in the oil and gas industry, including supervisory experience.
* Strong knowledge of insulation materials, techniques, and industry safety regulations.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
* Proficient in using relevant tools and equipment safely and effectively.

Physical Requirements:
* Ability to use hand tools, power tools and ladders
* Ability to work in various temperature ranges both indoors and outdoors.
* Ability to read, speak and hear clearly.
* Ability to see well enough to read and interpret reports, diagrams, and manuals, and operate a motor vehicle.
* Ability to climb ladders, scaffolds or poles
* Ability to bend, twist, kneel, stoop, crouch or crawl
* Ability to lift, push, pull, and routinely move at least 50 pounds.
