Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Duluth, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing complex mechanical parts and products, particularly aluminum enclosures for electronic systems. This role requires a hands-on approach to mechanical design, customization, and troubleshooting, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance.Responsibilities:Design mechanical enclosures for electronic systems, focusing on aluminum milled and casted enclosures.Implement mechanical design customizations for customer-specific projects.Create 3D documentation including technical specifications, user manuals, installation guides, interface control drawings, and production assembly drawings.Evaluate and select components for mechanical designs.Ensure product qualifications meet MIL-STD requirements (temperature, environmental, etc.).Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing products.Conduct research on emerging technologies related to mechanical design and engineering.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) required, Master's degree (MSME) preferred.Minimum of 6 years of related design experience.Demonstrated experience with aluminum enclosure design, both milled and casted.Proficiency in Pro-E Creo/Windchill for 3D design; SolidWorks experience is also acceptable.Experience in thermal management design.Hands-on experience with 3D printing or other prototyping methods.Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Location: Duluth, GASalary: $90,000 - $100,000/yearHours & Shift: M-F, 8 AM - 5 PMIf you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact Jaie Rogers at ...@selectek.com or call 678-###-####.
