Mechanical Lab TechnicianWe are currently seeking a Full-Time Mechanical Lab Technician in Youngstown, Ohio (44501). The Mechanical Lab Technician will be responsible for mechanical testing of automotive electrical components (connectors, terminals, attachments), using a variety of equipment. ON the Mechanical Lab Technician's Responsibilities:
- Setup and conduct product tests per technical specifications
- Operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Monitor test progress to meet scheduled milestones.
- Accurately record test results/documentation and write final reports.
- Acquire knowledge and proficiency in the use of general and specialized laboratory techniques, equipment, and instrumentation.
Mechanical Lab Technician's Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Minimum of a two-year associate degree in physical science, Electrical Technology, Electronics, Mechanical or discipline and/or equivalent experience.
- Must have an aptitude for mechanical technology.
- Basic understanding and ability to read technical specifications.
- Effectively work with others.
- Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Analytical ability to aid in problem resolution.
- Understands the capabilities and application of basic laboratory instrumentation.
- Must be willing to work 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm-Monday-Friday
- Must be willing to work 40/hrs.-45/hrs. per week.
The position is full time, long term with a starting hourly rate range based on experience and education from $16/hr.-$24/hr. paid overtime.
