Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure Asset and Structural Reliability: Oversee the reliability and availability of assets and infrastructure within the plant, applying the IPS management and Reliability System methodology.
- Lead Reliability and Capacity Projects: Drive the development and management of projects focused on enhancing reliability and increasing plant capacity in the designated area.
- Cost Management and Reliability Practices: Control costs and apply reliability best practices to optimize activity execution, meeting minimum maintenance quality standards while maximizing resource utilization.
- KPI and Personnel Development: Effectively manage key reliability and maintenance metrics, support team development, establish routines, and promote a strong understanding of KPI management.
- Outsourced Contract Oversight: Supervise outsourced contracts and collaborate with the purchasing department to foster new supplier relationships.
- Asset Reliability Leadership: Spearhead initiatives to enhance asset reliability, integrating new technologies or management strategies to extend asset lifecycles and reduce non-value-added activities. Employ advanced tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Applied Statistics, Predictive/Proactive Analysis, RCM, FMEA, WCM, and Digital Manufacturing.
- Safety and Productivity Management: Ensure safety compliance, maintain cost control, promote staff upskilling, and drive factory productivity, all while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Deliverables for the Business:
- Standardized Maintenance Management: Implement a consistent and structured maintenance management system across the assigned plant.
- Resource Coordination: Act as a liaison between maintenance units or departments, facilitating resource allocation for activities such as purchase orders, service contracts, and immediate purchases. This coordination fosters synergy, reducing costs and capital expenditure.
- Process Standardization: Establish standardized procedures for technicians and predictive management practices within the department to enhance operational efficiency.
Desired Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, maintenance execution, and the use of reliability tools and third-party management.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of electrical and mechanical equipment applied to machinery, equipment, and industrial processes. Familiarity with SAP-PM.
