Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Operations Superintendent to oversee mechanical operations in mission-critical facilities. This role involves leading and coordinating all aspects of mechanical system installations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Focus:
- Manage and supervise all on-site mechanical activities related to mission-critical facilities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project teams, including engineers, contractors, and vendors, to ensure seamless execution of mechanical systems.
- Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for the mechanical components of the project.
- Ensure the successful integration of mechanical systems into the overall construction process.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Resolve any on-site issues related to mechanical installations by collaborating closely with the project management team.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all mechanical activities, changes, and approvals.
Skill Set:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or completion of a relevant technical/trades school program, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience in managing mechanical systems within mission-critical environments, such as data centers, hospitals, or other high-stakes facilities.
- Proven track record of collaborating with top builders on high-stakes ventures, with a strong preference for candidates who have extensive experience in data center construction.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems integration within complex, large-scale construction projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines while maintaining a commitment to quality and safety.
- Familiarity with the latest industry standards and best practices for mission-critical mechanical systems preferred.
- Experience in managing large-scale projects focused on data centers or other similar mission-critical environments is highly desirable.
