Profile:
ASEI Engineering is currently seeking a Mechanical P.E. to join our talented consulting team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a project design position that will work in partnership with, and under the oversight of a Mechanical P.E. to oversee quality control, maintain company standards, and develop training protocols in our Phoenix, AZ office.
Duties:
- Create complete, permit ready Mechanical and/or Plumbing Designs in AutoCAD and/or Revit software. Projects include residential, commercial, light commercial and industrial construction. Design process includes all HVAC and plumbing systems and controls, heat loss/heat gain calculations for equipment selections, and specifications for all equipment/systems
- Perform site visits and field investigations to verify existing conditions of project sites and to resolve installation issues.
- Perform construction administration for ongoing projects including responses to requests for information, client revisions, equipment submittals and plan review comments.
- Work directly with clients to determine overall project needs and design considerations.
- Effectively manage mechanical/plumbing design projects through clear, consistent communication to meet client needs, project schedules, and budget expectations
- Build long term customer relationships with existing and potential clients through world-class customer service
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and flexibility by supporting your peers as needed and participating in company sponsored training and events
Requirements:
- Must be a Mechanical P.E. licensed in the state of Arizona , or demonstrate the ability to acquire Arizona licensing
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as an engineering consultant
- Proficient knowledge in AutoCAD and/or Revit (preferred)
- Excellent working knowledge of mechanical design in the realm of commercial, educational, multi-family, and light industrial projects
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently
- Self-motivated, reliable individual that thrives on doing a job well
- Demonstrate independence, initiative, and desire to achieve results
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in maintaining long-term client relationships
- Ability to communicate effectively with people through oral and written communications
- Passion to provide our clients a world-class experience on every interaction for every project, every time
- Experience with MS Office products
- Bachelor's Degree

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
