This is a Monday-Friday 7am - 4pm role. There is an on-call schedule that will have you on-call every other weekend. Calls come in 2-3 times a month. Expect to be called in maybe once a month.The company converts landfill methane gas into natural gas. You will maintain mobile and stationary generators up to 1500KW. This includes monitoring systems, adjusting flow rates, temperature, and pm work. You will work on CAT G3500 and G3600 gas engines or similar piston engines, controls, generators, and ancillary equipment if needed.Primary responsibilities are daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical generator sets and equipment. Additional responsibilities include, keeping a spare parts inventory, maintenance, planning/scheduling, record keeping, and reporting.The company will train you on all aspects of the role. The hiring manager is a former chef who joined the company in this role. He is now a regional manager with five years. He wants someone who believes in safety programs, can adhere to SOPs, and is professionally curious. They will train you on everything else. The pay is unique. It is all about the total compensation. The job has monthly bonuses of up to $1,000. Most people average an extra $6,000-$8,000 a year just from these bonuses. The company pays 100% of your health benefits. This includes your family.The hourly rate is $26 - $29/hour, plus overtime and all the perks listed above.
