**Description**

Spang & Company, a manufacturer with global operations in China and the United States, has an opening for a **Mechanical Production Assembler Heavy Winding/Wiring** at the Spang Engineered Solutions division located in West Valley in Phoenix, Arizona. Spang Engineered Solutions designs and manufactures custom inductive components for an array of different industries.

The Mechanical Production Assembler Heavy Winding/Wiring will be responsible for setting up and performing winding and wiring duties on transformers based on drawings, schematics and work instructions.

Major Responsibilities:

* Wind small to large coils in volume production environment.

* Stack steel laminations or insert magnetic cores into finished coils.

* Interconnect large wires and lugs.

* Read and interpret electrical/ mechanical drawings and schematics.

* Soldering and braising experience desired.

* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent plus manufacturing experience. Manual dexterity to assemble devices is required. **Must be able to lift 70 lbs.**

Starting salary is up to $17/hr. depending on experience. Bonus pay available.

Shift is 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. M-F
