Our client is a global leader and profitable organization that is based in suburban Chicago. In this team-oriented and collaborative mechanical engineering role, you will play a key part in a project team and will engineer pressure vessels, perform code calculations and stress analysis, and assist with system commissioning.

- Experience and ability to handle complete systems and turnkey installations with project scope ranging from process development, engineering studies, equipment supply and commissioning
Position Overview
- Responsible for applying customer design specifications and in developing equipment standards
- Help coordinate project design and direct drafting team members in developing general arrangements and outline drawings
- Audit fabrication shops, review fabrication quotations and drawings, and inspect fabrication sites as needed
- Prepare ASME code calculations and perform stress analysis
- Participate in commissioning to ensure that system meets contract requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical
- 1-5 years experience with ASME section VIII code pressure vessel calculations ideally using Compress
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Proficiency using CEASAR for pipe stress analysis is a plus
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 10%-20%
- Ability to work in a cross-functional oriented setting
- Strong interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
- $75,000-$95,000 base salary depending on experience
