Position OverviewThe Mechanical Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment. This role involves hands-on work with various machinery and tools, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues in machinery and equipment
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of mechanical systems
- Operate and maintain CNC machines, lathes, and milling machines
- Assemble and disassemble mechanical components as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure machinery is functioning correctly
- Collaborate with engineering and other technical teams to resolve issues
- Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately
- Travel to different sites for on-location repairs and maintenance as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Repair Technician or similar role
- Strong skills in machine maintenance and repair
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines, lathes, and milling machines
- Familiarity with small engines and valve systems
- Ability to assemble and disassemble mechanical components
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel for work assignments
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
