Job Title: Medical Device Assembler Starting Pay: $22-23 per hour Shift: 5 or 6 AM start time Duration: 3+ months, with potential for temp-to-direct hire Job Purpose: Responsible for assembling high-quality medical devices and training other associates, while minimizing scrap to meet production and project schedules. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble components into medical devices following approved manufacturing procedures.
- Participate in line meetings as required.
- Assist in training production personnel as needed.
- Maintain clean room integrity by adhering to proper attire and clean room practices.
- Follow general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies, and FDA regulations.
- Complete device history records using good documentation practices.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of manufacturing experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work across multiple product lines and adapt to changing assignments.
- Proficient in using various tools and equipment required for assembly tasks.
- Specialized skills such as solution mixing and soldering are a plus.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
