Position: MS/Telemetry (MS/Tele) NurseLocation: Rome, NYSchedule:

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend/holiday required

Requirements:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
• New York State (NYS) nursing license required
• Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience
• NIH Stroke Certification required before start
• 8 hours of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) required as part of facility orientation
• Strong IV skills, ability to confidently manage cardiac drips, read EKG strips, and perform wound care
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac care
• Floating to Medical-Surgical (MS) units required

Preferred Experience:

• Travel nursing experience
• Experience with Cardizem drips, telemetry strips, and other cardiac-related interventions may reduce the experience requirement

Nurse-Patient Ratio: 1:5

Additional Notes:

• COVID prescreen is no longer required
• Travelers who decline the vaccine will need to provide a declination; vaccinated travelers must provide documentation
