The Med Tech/CNA is responsible for medication administration, provides medical and physical care of daily needs for Senior Adult residents, functions as the resident's closest advocate in the household, keeps the household clean and cares for personal laundry, and builds relationships while celebrating life! We are willing to educate and train for the Med Tech guidelines, but all new hires must pass the NC Med Aide for Adult Care Homes certification within 90 days of hire.Pay rate scale is based on experience.$16 - $17.50 per hourShift Differentials:$1.00 for Weekday 2nd and 3rd shifts$1.50 for Weekend 1st shift$2.50 for Weekend 2nd and 3rd shiftsWhy work with us?Pennybyrn is a resident-centered retirement community with a team-driven culture that is truly engaging and unique! Do you have:Current CNA certification in NCAbility to read, write, follow oral instructions, and report progressHigh school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.Previous nursing service or long-term care experience preferredUnderstanding, patience, tact in dealing with the chronically ill.A positive attitude!Detail-oriented with great documentation skillsTeamwork and flexibility to easily adapt
