Tombras, a 400+ person, full-service, national advertising agency with a digital mindset, is seeking a Media Associate.
Where you'll be working: This position will be based in our Knoxville office. The Media Associate is an entry-level position responsible for learning basic advertising principles and is responsible for all tasks related to supporting and assisting the Media Strategy team in preparation of media research, proposals, plans, reporting and analysis. The Media Associate also provides necessary maintenance for a media plan after it has been implemented and supports the buying process by assisting with the preparation of insertion orders, post-launch reporting, and monitoring of budget pacing.What you'll be doing:
- Pulls media research (Kantar, Scarborough, Buxton, etc.), as needed.
- Prepares client deliverables (presentation decks, POVs, reporting, etc.), as needed.
- Schedules internal meetings and coordinates resources, as needed.
- Trains in all media planning and buying tools (Prisma/Media Ocean, Lumina, DFA, etc.).
- Checks media contracts to ensure consistency across internal and external systems.
- Researches billing and reporting discrepancies, as needed.
- Develops campaign performance reports and provides optimization recommendations.
- Builds vendor/publisher relationships and maintain contact lists for media reps.
- Perform other job functions, as required by their Supervisor.
What you bring:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), plus Keynote
- Experience with Google programs (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
- Strong Verbal & Written Communication Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to deliver good quality work on deadline
- Good organizational skills with an ability to multi-task
- Inquisitive mind looking to hone analytical skill sets
- Proactive, self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Team player that knows how to work well with others and follow-through
- Passion for advertising and a desire to grow in their discipline
- Basic knowledge of Digital Media tactics (Mobile, Video, OTT, Programmatic, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree with relevant major and courses preferred
