- High School graduate
- Must pass the District Basic Skills Test.
- Master Library Systems (Dewey Decimals, etc.)
- Competency in-office procedures such as filing, simple bookkeeping, telephone.
- Utilize technology effectively and efficiently.
Expectations of Job Performance:
- Check out books and other materials
- Organized and effective time management skills
- Record and reshelve materials
- Compile overdue listings and send overdue notices
- Check out equipment and materials to teaching staff
- Assist with technology within the building
- Collect and organize school-wide data
- Supervise virtual students
- Assist the building administration in any other way that will result in an efficient operation
- Positive attitude, able to conduct good public relations, and model a good public image towards others
- Able to deal with students, staff, and the public with tact and courtesy
- Dependable, collegial, and supportive person towards all employee groups in the building
- Firm discipline skills
- Able to work effectively and patiently with assigned students
