Sr. Associate, Amazon Media

Sitting within the Retail Media team at HS Ad, the Senior Associate will manage the Amazon Search (Sponsored Ads) and Display (DSP) activation, implementation, reporting and optimization, to drive sales and business growth for LG Electronics on-site within Amazon. Daily operations for this role include hands-on-keyboard campaign execution, optimization, daily budget pacing and bidding, using Amazon's platform and third party tools (ie. Skai). As this role is highly integrated with Channel Marketing, Sales, and other key stakeholders within the organization, this individual will have visibility into the larger Amazon ecosystem and play a critical role in amplifying successes and results for all involved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support management of on-site Amazon paid media activity (Sponsored Ads, DSP) to meet business objectives and goals
  • Participate in Amazon media strategy and tactical planning, assisting the team in media proposals
  • Build and execute Sponsored Ads and DSP campaigns, inclusive of keyword mining, category trends, competitor research, audience strategies, negative targeting, etc.
  • Manage pacing and monthly budgets, optimal allocation between ad formats, bidding and related settings, spend reconciliation and other related financial upkeep
  • Analyze performance for optimizations and prepare report share-outs, identifying actionable insights and opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Channel Marketing, Creative, and Sales to ensure holistic planning and execution
  • Identify and implement testing opportunities to drive performance improvements and contribute to broader strategic initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or related role
  • Solid understanding of digital advertising fundamentals and best practices
  • Minimum of 1 year or more hands-on experience in paid media planning/buying platforms (Amazon Advertising a plus)
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to develop data-driven insights
  • Highly organized, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment without sacrificing accuracy
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Self-motivated with a passion for learning new tools and technologies
  • Familiarity with Amazon Marketplace environment is a plus
