Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble medical devices, including reverse osmosis (RO) systems, from start to finish according to technical specifications and schematics.
- Perform electrical assembly tasks, such as wiring, soldering, and connecting components for electrical systems in medical devices.
- Read, interpret, and follow electrical schematics and assembly diagrams to ensure proper configuration and function of devices.
- Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and operational specifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues during assembly to ensure product functionality.
- Collaborate with engineers and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues and improve product designs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes, wiring configurations, and test results.
- Adhere to safety protocols and cleanliness standards to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned related to product assembly, testing, and improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical certification or associate degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in assembly, with a focus on medical devices or related industries.
- Strong background in RO system assembly and building products from the ground up.
- Hands-on experience with electrical wiring, including proper handling of wires, connectors, and components.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings to ensure correct assembly and wiring.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and safety regulations.
- Experience with soldering, crimping, and connecting electrical components.
- Familiarity with testing equipment and techniques for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Medical device assembly training or certifications a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time during assembly processes.
- Dexterity to perform fine motor tasks, including wiring and assembly.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required for the role.
