Location: Minnetonka,MN, USA
The Medicaid Project Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Provides subject matter expertise based on established project management techniques. This position will focus on the planning, development, directing, coordinating, and implementation activities pertaining to Medicaid product performance initiatives and new benefit/product implementation.
Key Accountabilities
* Lead cross-functional initiatives for Medicaid and Special Needs Plan products
* Identify resources needed to deliver a project on time, in scope, and on budget; socialize and get buy-in from leadership. Prepare presentations and present as needed
* Maintain a master inventory of assigned projects with status, providing updates to stakeholders and business owners
* Develop Project Plan with delivery and readiness resources; maintain decision log; provider status and socialize issues/risks with stakeholders and business owners
* Schedule meetings with project teams, produce agendas, ensure notes are captured and communicated timely, and assign follow-ups and ensure follow-ups are closed
* Provider oversight and direction of projects to ensure project outcomes are met
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
* 5 years of work experience beyond degree in related field
* Project Management Professional Certification strongly preferred

* Experience with Medicaid and Special Needs Plan (SNP) Products
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong presentation skills
* Ability to plan and lead project meetings.
* Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to build credibility and influence change.
* Ability to work both independently and within group settings
* Ability to work with a level of ambiguity and in an environment that changes frequently
* Comfortable communicating with all levels within the organization
This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work from the designated office - Twin Cities - , on average, 2+ times per week.
The full salary range for this position is $85,000 - $145,700. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
