Summary

JOB SUMMARY:

• Provides services necessary to obtain and maintain Maryland Medicaid coverage for our patients and residents. Provides support to the billing staff of Medicaid claims for our patients and residents. Works with outside providers involved with Medicaid for our patients and residents

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. Proficient in Maryland Medicaid regulations for Long Term Care eligibility. Must have experience working in a Long Term environment for at least 5 years. Proficient in all Maryland DHMH forms required to obtain and maintain Maryland Medicaid coverage. Demonstrates the ability to communicate efficiently rules and regulations regarding Long Term Care Medicaid to Families and Patients as well as coworkers and outside departments.
