Role: Medical Assistant

Location: Oswego, NY

Contract Duration: 13 weeks contract with a possibility of extension

Pay Rate: Up to $22/hr

Work Schedule: 40 hours/week

Shift: 8 hour or 10-hour shifts depending on the office.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma and MA certification required
• Current BLS from the American Heart Associate
• Must be able to float as needed
• Must be able to work independently in a fast pace movement

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Assists with office/ medical procedures, processing patient referrals to other providers, scheduling and other duties as needed.
• Rooming patients, Getting vitals, Knowledge of our EMR, Medical Terminology, Typing Skills. Works under the direct supervision of the Practice Coordinator, designee, or provider to support secretarial and nursing staff in the areas of patient care.
