Job Description
- The Medical Assistant will assist with office/ medical procedures, processing patient referrals to other providers, scheduling, and other duties as needed.
- Rooming patients, Getting vitals, Knowledge of our EMR, Medical Terminology, and Typing Skills.
- The Medical Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the Practice Coordinator, designee, or provider to support secretarial and nursing staff in the areas of patient care.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Medical experience preferred, clerical and computer knowledge required. Prefer at least one year of experience in a medical office setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and/or 3rd party insurance process preferred.
- PC/CRT data entry and strong customer service skills.
Note:
- 40 hours weekly
- 8-hour or 10-hour shifts depending on the office.
