Job Details:

Job Name: Medical Assistant

Location: Centereach, NY 11720

Duration: 2 months Contract/ Likely to convert to FT based on performance

Shift: Monday - Friday 08:30 am 05:00 pm, rotating Saturdays

Pay rate: $20- $23/hr. on w2/ *Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Organizes the clinical environment and provides support in patient care situations.
• Rooming Patients
• In basket work
• Procedure assisting

Job Requirements:

• Epic EMR
• Core Medical Assisting experience
• Vitals, injections, lab draws, referral workflow, patient outreaches.
• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Medical assisting certification or registration
• Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations required.
• Good communication and customer service skills required.
