Primary scheduled hours - 72 - 80 hours per pay period -can expect day shift of 12 hours or 10 hour depending on Clinic needs.Job Summary: Provides patient care in an office setting.Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or physician.Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and office policies, procedures and standards.Communicates with physicians and team members about patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.Education Background and ExperienceMinimum Education:Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program.Required Licensure / Certifications:Certified Medical AssistantRequired Experience:Strong Computer Skills.Typing accuracy.Preferred Qualifications:Urgent Care experience.Previous EMR experience.Knowledge of HIPAA.Proficient in taking Patient Vitals.
