- Knowledge of adult and/or pediatric office practice
- Electronic Health Records experience helpful
- Must have valid driver's license, insurance, and transportation to other clinics as needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Moderate physical exertion including frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching and carrying moderately heavy loads (up to 25 lbs.)
- Ability to work in conditions that include exposure to blood, bodily fluids and tissues, contagious diseases and/or other potentially hazardous materials
- Fine motor coordination sufficient to perform manipulative skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to deliver medical services and use equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Must be passionate about a career in the healthcare field that offers on the job training and direct patient care!
- Prepares patient for examination, takes height, weight, blood pressure and other measurements as applicable
- Takes initial medical information including medication history
- Assists in performing waived laboratory tests
- Makes correct entries in patient charts and checks appointment dates
- Assists patients to examination rooms, lab and restrooms
- Restocks and straightens exam rooms
- Performs quality assurance on glucometers
- Makes copies and faxes documents as requested
- Performs other duties as required
