Our client, a human-centered practice committed to enhancing mental healthcare is looking for a Medical Assistant who is personable, customer-service focused, and eager to learn. If you have an interest in healthcare, whether experienced or new to the field, this role could be an excellent fit!Location: Fully On-Site in South Shore, MassachusettsSchedule: Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM (occasional flexibility for 8 AM-6 PM shifts; OT eligible).Pay: $25-26/hour.Workplace: Onsite south shore MA (training in Peabody 1-2 times during onboarding).Experience:Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required.Prior healthcare experience is a plus but not mandatory (backgrounds in other fields, like marketing or pre-nursing, are welcome!).Accessibility: Location is not highly accessible via public transit.Background Check: Required (can start pending results).What We're Looking For:Personality:Personable, collaborative, and excellent with customer service.Eager to learn and adaptable to feedback.Willing to work hands-on in a medical setting.Skills:Ability to quickly learn and apply training.Interest in healthcare and a desire to grow professionally.Teamwork:Thrive in a close-knit, supportive team environment.Key Responsibilities:Administer and monitor treatments like Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato Esketamine.Conduct basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs.Assist patients with medication requests, health forms, and inquiries.Build strong relationships with patients during their treatment sessions.Coordinate patient care with the in-house treatment team.Collaborate with local healthcare providers to promote available treatments.Perform administrative duties, including appointment scheduling and insurance coordination.Manage medication inventory.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED.Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.Willingness to learn basic medical procedures and terminology.Basic computer skills and proficiency in English.Completion of a Medical Assistant program.Previous experience in a psychiatric outpatient setting.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow within a supportive and dynamic team!
