As a Medical Assistant, you will assist with procedures, provide education, and support the multidisciplinary team, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care at every step of their path to parenthood.We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Seattle Reproductive Medicine, located in Seattle, WA. This is a full-time, onsite position, working Thursday-Monday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with up to 2 holidays per year and 2-3 on-call weekend shifts annually.Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update patient information.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Perform basic diagnostic tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are properly stocked and available.
- Assist with surgical procedures, including egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and Dilation & Curettage (D&C).
- Accurately document patient information and maintain electronic medical records (EMR).
- Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medication protocols, and preventive care measures.
- Ensure a safe and organized environment by adhering to infection control and safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management and clinical supply ordering.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Education & Licensure:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program and an active WA state license.
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
- Experience & Skills:
- Strong phlebotomy skills preferred.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Flexibility:
- Willingness to cover weekends, holidays, and work at various locations as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
