Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring **Medical Assistants in San Antonio, Texas!** This role requires travel within San Antonio, New Braunfels, Seguin, Boerne, Kerrville, and Pleasanton.This is an in-person role. Please review the details below and apply with an updated resume.**Position Type** : 3-month contract (with potential for extension or full-time offer)**Schedule** : Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm**Pay** : $22.30 - $24.30 per hour**Responsibilities** :· Performs all duties within the scope of a Certified Medical Assistant (injections, diagnostic testing, phlebotomy).· Coordinates healthcare screening results as directed by providers, company standards, and policies· Travels with the mobile team to clinics and centralized locations to conduct screening clinics to support contracted physician network.· Rooms patients according to company standards.· Follows all physician office guidelines while conducting screening clinics onsite at contracted physician clinics.· Arrives to all clinics as least 15 minutes early to introduce the team to the office staff and set up equipment in exam room designated for clinic.· Organizes onsite clinics to ensure all equipment and supplies are on hand and set up in the exam rooms prior to receiving patients for screening appointments.· Performs and completes all quality program health screenings per required metrics.· Processes appropriate documents in an organized and accurate manner and copies all physicians on patient results and quality forms submitted.· Reviews all patient screening forms to ensure all outstanding healthcare screenings are performed and reviews medical records to data mine and collect referral information for colon screenings, DM eye exams, mammograms and labs.· Performs all other related duties as assigned.**Qualifications** :· High school diploma or GED required· Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification.· ICD-9 and CPT coding experience required· Ability to travel frequently within assigned market.· Be flexible and adaptable to change.· Must have reliable transportation for daily travel to various clinics as assigned.· Immunizations/vaccinations required: MMR, TB Screening, Varicella, Hep B, Flu shot, Tdap, Covid 19 vaccination**Why work for Adecco?**· Weekly Pay· 401(k) Plan· Skills Training· Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits**Pay Details:** $22.30 to $24.30 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
