We consider our team like a family, not just co-workers.* Career Growth: You have the opportunity to go beyond licensure and employment requirements and become nationally certified.Job Summary* Performs selected medical assistant and clerical duties that assist in care for clinic patients following established standards, practices, and competency.* Works collaboratively with other clinic staff to solve practice-related problems.* Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status.* Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.Education and/or Experience* Graduate from a Medical Assistant program with an Associate's degree or diploma preferred.* Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred.Certification, Licensure, Registration* National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAAMA); or* National Registration as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologist (AMT); or* National Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health Career Association and Medical Assistant diploma.Work Schedule* Day/Evening Shifts, Monday-Friday, 80 hours every 2 weeksPayThe hourly range for this position is listed below.
